About the Bands
SOME REMAIN (Sligo)
Some Remain are a four piece alternative punk band hailing from Sligo. Showcasing a vigorous blend of jagged 70s post punk, sharp noise and catchy hooks, Some Remain bring a powerful live energy to their live performances. With kinetic drumming, punchy bass lines and abrasive yet catchy guitar lines, fronted with a combination of aggressive and melodic vocals, their sound is infectious and gets the crowd spilling their drinks and grooving their arses off. Earlier this year they released a 7″ single on Galway's Blowtorch records, the same label that recently released Nerves EP.
NICHTS (Ballina)
Ballina's newest band! Punk rock 5 piece with a stoner-metal edge. Featuring ex members of The Jollars, Only Fumes and Corpses, Shithatt and GSB.
ZRANGORN (Ballina)
Zrangorn is the, until now, recording project of Conor Hickey (and friends). Since 2020 a number of digital singles have been released, All The Sound, Black Berlin and Blood Onion. The recordings are often multi-layered and feature unconventional instruments. This first live performance will however feature just 2 musicians, Conor and guitar and vocals and long-time collaborator Padraig MacNally.
